The Allegr Foundation Attains Full Charity Status in England & Wales

December 7, 2023

The Allegr Foundation is thrilled to announce that it has been officially registered as a charity in England & Wales.  This marks a significant milestone in its mission to drive Health Through Connection.

After a thorough review process, the Charity Commission has granted The Allegr Foundation full charity status, recognising the organisation's commitment to the promotion of healthy activity in the community. This achievement presents new opportunities for the Foundation to further develop programmes such as Walk&Talk.

Our Walk&Talk programme epitomises our work;  a simple, but hugely impactful concept which is already proving itself to be successful in positively impacting participants’ health and happiness through regular activity and interaction. We are delighted to share the news of our official charity status, and look forward to launching our first fundraising campaign – helping to promote and develop the  Walk&Talk programmes (Veteran and Community) nationwide.

Also commenting on the Charity registration, Co-Founder Ben Burch added:

This accomplishment is a testament to the dedication of our team and the support of our community. We look forward to continuing our work and making a positive impact on the communities we serve. Our society has such a vital need to bring people together around a shared healthy activity this is another leap forward towards our goals.

We will soon launch a fundraising campaign to help promote the Walk&Talk programmes (Veteran and Community) nationwide.
